By popular demand…
The Kitchen Chemist was due to give two performances of Kitchen Chemistry: Second helpings at the Norwich Science Festival on October 24 2017. The demand was so great, however, that a third show was scheduled.
Having spent the whole day playing trains at the Norwich Science Festival on the Sunday (October 22) as part of Physics Fest the Kitchen Chemist returned on the Tuesday to perform some Kitchen Chemistry.
Tuesday was chemistry day, with lots of hands-on activities in the forum, and, overlooking it all, a giant periodic table.
Kitchen Chemistry took place in the auditorium, downstairs. There were two shows scheduled during the day, and these were both sold out. In fact there was enough interest to put on a third show slightly later in the day.
It turned out that the auditorium was not spacious enough for the rocket launch at the end of the show, so presenter, and audience, went outside for the final demonstration. A big thank you to Mia Mckean who sent me the video below.
Norwich Science Festival looks as if it is going from strength to strength, and I hope that I will be able to be involved again in future years.
