Inspirational Member Award

Back in July I was invited to Burlington House, the home of the Royal Society of Chemistry, where I was presented with an Inspirational Member Award. The award was for “outstanding dedication to inspiring school pupils and the public as The Kitchen Chemist both in the local section and beyond“. The full citation is on the Royal Society of Chemistry website. It turns out that beyond should be even further next year, but, if confirmed, that is news for another day.

It was a lovely opportunity to meet other award winners and enjoy the sumptuous surroundings of Burlington House with lots of other chemistry enthusiasts.
