Malaysia and Singapore with the Kitchen Chemist

The end of January 2024 saw The Kitchen Chemist setting off for Malaysia. I was once again working with the International Office of the university. I had the opportunity to visit a number of schools in Johor Barhu (also known as JB), which is at the southern tip of the Malaysian peninsula. There I gave Kitchen Chemistry: Seconds, the second of the Kitchen Chemistry talks.

My diary meant that I was limited to a single week. That week included a public holiday in Malaysia. Far be it for me to be allowed to rest on my laurels, the team arranged for me to visit Singapore on that day. There I gave my “Light Powered Therapeutics” talk to sixth form pupils in Dulwich College and Kitchen Chemistry: Seconds in St. Joseph’s International Institution.

Once again I had a great time, and the team worked hard to ensure everything ran smoothly. I look forward to my next opportunity to visit the area. Watch this space for news of that!
